Doryx

Doryx refers to tetracycline antibiotics. The medicine fights bacteria.

It treats various bacterial infections, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, acne, periodontitis, and urinary tract infections.

It is effective for acne-like lesions, bumps, blemishes associated with rosacea. It does not treat facial redness due to rosacea.

Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here.

It should be avoided while pregnancy or breast-feeding. It may harm the baby. Birth control pills may become less effective due to it. Use effective birth control. It passes into breastmilk and may harm the baby. It should be avoided while breastfeeding. Avoid the medicine in case of allergy to doxycycline or similar medicines. Notify the doctor if you have liver/kidney diseases. Your doze may need correction or the medicine may even harm you. It should not be used in children under 8. Your teeth may become yellow/gray, it affects child’s teeth. Do not use it after the expiration date. It may be dangerous.
