Diovan

Diovan refers to angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It prevents narrowing or blood vessels. It improves the flow of blood and decreases blood pressure.

The medicine is effective for high blood pressure. The medicine may be combined with some blood pressure medicines.

Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here.

It should be avoided while pregnancy. It may harm the baby especially if to use it during 2nd/3d trimesters. Use effective birth control. Notify the physician in case of pregnancy. It should be avoided if you have allergy to the medicine. Do not drink alcohol. Avoid taking potassium while taking it.

Make sure it is effective with you, check your blood pressure constantly. Do not miss the physician’s appointments.

Do not stop taking it in case of improved health. High blood pressure may be symptomless.

Rarely it may cause skeletal muscle tissue breakdown, resulting in kidney failure Notify the doctor in case of having tenderness, muscle pain, weakness combined with vomiting, nausea, dark urine, fever.
