BuSpar refers to anti-anxiety medicines. It affects brain chemicals causing anxiety.

It is effective for anxiety disorders and for anxiety symptoms relief (short-term), including tension, fear, dizziness, irritability.

Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here.

Avoid the medicine in case of allergy to buspirone. MAO inhibitor taken with BuSpar may cause life-threatening side effects. The medicine may impair reactions or thinking. Be careful while driving. Do not drink alcohol.

Grapefruit may interact with BuSpar. The medicine should be taken short-time only. It should not be taken longer than 4 weeks.

Also consult your physician in case of allergy signs, including breathing difficulty; hives, face swelling. Contact the physician in case of serious side effects, including fainting, irregular heart rate, depression symptoms, balance/coordination lack.

You may also experience less serious side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, trouble concentrating, blurred vision, nausea, restlessness, upset stomach, insomnia.
