Amoxil

Amoxil treats various bacterial infections, including E. coli or salmonella infection, sexually transmitted diseases, pneumonia, ear infections, bladder infections. It may be combined with clarithromycin to treat certain stomach ulcers. Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here. It is not effective against flu or cold.

Tell the physician if you have liver/kidney disease, asthma, heart problems, allergies.

It decreases the effect of birth control pills, resulting in pregnancy. Also consult your physician in case of allergy signs, including breathing difficulty, hives, face swelling. Contact the physician in case of serious side effects, including sore throat, headache, fever, red skin rash, stomach pain, nausea, appetite loss, clay-colored stools, dark urine, jaundice, diarrhea, body aches, cold symptoms, easy bleeding/bruising, weakness, confusion, agitation, depression symptoms, seizure.

You may also experience less serious side effects like vomiting, nausea, stomach pain, headache, vaginal discharge/itching, black,/wollen/”hairy” tongue, thrush.
