Actos is a medicine to control sugar levels in blood.
Actos is used in patients having type II diabetes. It may be combined with insulin medications. It does not treat type I diabetes.

Low blood sugar symptoms include headache, hunger, irritability, confusion, drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, fainting, sweating, tremors, fast heartbeat, convulsions, or coma.
Actos may renew menstrual periods in women. You may become pregnant. You need birth control.
Also consult your physician in case of allergy signs, including breathing difficulty, hives, face swelling. Contact the physician in case of serious side effects, including weakness, rapid weight gain, short of breath, swelling, chest pain, stomach pain, nausea, fever, appetite loss, clay-colored stools, dark urine, jaundice, increased hunger/thirst, blurred vision, frequent urination, pale skin, easy bleeding/bruising.
You may also experience less serious side effects like sneezing, cough, running nose, headache, muscle pain, problems with teeth, gradual weight gain.
