Accutane

Accutane refers to vitamin A. It promotes quick skin renewal.

Accutane is a medicine to treat nodular acne (severe form). It is used when antibiotics and acne medicines do not help.

Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here.

It may treat severe birth defects. It must not be used in pregnancy.

Avoid taking vitamin A together with the medicine. Also consult your physician in case of allergy signs, including breathing difficulty, hives, face swelling. Contact the physician in case of serious side effects, including crying spells, depressed mood, sleep problems, hallucinations, agitation, behavior changes, thoughts of suicide, numbness/weakness (sudden), blurred vision, headache (sudden and severe), hearing problems, seizure, severe pain in stomach, vomiting/nausea, fast heart rate, appetite loss, clay-colored stools, dark urine, jaundice, diarrhea (severe), rectal bleeding, fever, body aches, symptoms of flu, easy bleeding/bruising, bone pain, or joint stiffness.

You may also experience less serious side effects like.
