Zithromax

Zithromax treats various bacterial infections, including sexually transmitted diseases, ear infections, skin infections, and respiratory infections.

Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here. Zithromax refers to macrolide antibiotics. It is related to erythromycin.

Notify your physician it you are allergic to this medicine or similar drugs.

It may also interact with certain medicines. It is not effective against flu or cold. It should be taken after meals (in 1-2 hours).

Also consult your physician in case of allergy signs, including breathing difficulty, hives, face swelling. Contact the physician in case of serious side effects, including dark urine, bloody/watery diarrhea, clay-colored stool, uneven heartbeat, chest pain, stomach pain, nausea, fever, appetite loss, jaundice, sore throat, headache, red skin rash.

You may also experience less serious side effects like dizziness, vomiting, nausea (mild), constipation, diarrhea, stomach upset or pain, tiredness, nervous feeling, headache, insomnia, vaginal discharge/itching, skin rash, itching, ringing in the ears, hearing problems.
