Lasix

Lasix refers to loop diuretics. It prevents excess absorption of salt. The medicine is effective for high blood pressure.

It may treat fluid retention in patients with liver/kidney/heart disorders.

Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here.

It should be avoided if you cannot urinate.

Notify the physician if you have diabetes, lupus, liver/kidney disease, gout or have allergy to sulfa drugs.

Make sure it is effective with you, check your blood pressure constantly. You may also need to test kidney or liver. Do not miss the physician’s appointments.

It may cause dehydration due to increased urination. Follow the physician’s instructions.

Do not be dehydrated. Do not stop taking it in case of improved health. High blood pressure may be symptomless.
